On December 26th, many areas east of Dallas were affected by 9 confirmed tornadoes. The National Weather Service said the tornado, which produced EF4 damage in Garland and EF3 damage in Rowlett, was on the ground for approximately 13 miles in Dallas and Rockwall Counties.
