Coronavirus Update

There is a lot of information going around about the Coronavirus, and it is easy to feel worried or concerned about the virus. We get it -we live, work and play here too. The information surrounding COVID-19, it's spread and how to address it are rapidly changing. At Mr. Restore, we want our community to feel safe and to practice the necessary precautions. This is a dynamic situation that shouldn't be ignored, but we also need to act responsibly and not create hysteria where it's not needed.

At the moment, there is no reason to panic about the Coronavirus. The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is working closely with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to monitor the outbreak and keep us all safe and well-informed. The U.S. government is also working hard with public health partners to implement intense measures to contain and delay the transmission of the Coronavirus.

Some media and restoration companies will try to scare you by providing you with misinformation. We have even seen incidents where restoration companies take advantage of civilian's fear and may try to scam you. Please be wary of companies that do not have your best interest in mind. Mr. Restore is available and able to help in these situations. There is a lot to navigate an discuss. We know the target is to remove this virus from areas, and we can clean and apply disinfectant to any area, but how would the areas be "clearance tested" what would be the protocol for ensuring it's gone? How long would that last? What we want everyone to understand that issues like San Antonio's North Star Mall closing could be a reality. However, in the case the mall was closed for 24hrs for a deep cleaning. What did they do in 24hrs, how much did they clean, did they test once clean? There is so much we don't know? But what if the one confirmed case exposed other by direct contact? What if someone else unknowingly exposed visits the mall and recontaminates the mall? How do we know if it was ever really cleaned?
