The technician is responsible for the field operation of an individual project to which they have been assigned. The technician will be trained in using our tools, software and processes to effectively evaluate and assess services required to properly, effectively and efficiently mitigate the damage which has occurred at the property to which they have been assigned. The goal is always returning the clients property to it’s pre-loss condition or better. The technician will be required to show up to work daily with a positive attitude, ensure the company response vehicle is equipped and ready to respond. The technician will arrive onsite to greet the client regarding the known damage which had occurred. They will document the damage with photos to load into Job-Dox project management software. They will take moisture content reading of the affected areas. They will be responsible for sketching the floor plan of the home into Job-Dox and They will establish the plan for mitigation. They will extract water from the affected materials, set fans and dehumidifiers calculated by the system to create the proper drying environment. The will set expectations with customer on timeframes to complete and return for monitoring progress. They will document daily the progress and update the system accordingly.
